Konstantine Vlasis is an environmental composer, audio storyteller, 2024-2025 Fulbright-National Geographic Award recipient and National Geographic Explorer. His current project, "When Glaciers Sing," is an immersive audio expedition that documents the sounds of Iceland's glaciers as a form of climate communication and environmental storytelling. Using a series of LOM devices, Konstantine has been documenting the sounds of glaciers in Iceland.
In one of the episodes, Konstantine discusses the work “2124” with @apexpercussion, which blends music with scientific data, and was recorded using a series of LOM Geofón on Breiðamerkurjökull.
Konstantine was supported with three Geofóns, which he uses to record low frequencies produced by glaciers as they flow downslope.
