Laura Hunt
Laura Hunt is a sound and visual artist based in Sydney Australia. She plays as Aura Hunting and Szem.
Hunt's music is influenced by plausible fictions and alternate realities, exploring themes of transmutation of energy and shifting states of being. Aura Hunting uses water as an instrument amplified through diy hydrophonic microphones. Water holding energetic states is poured between vessels, alongside soundscape and digital/hardware instruments. Szem is Hunt's IDM project using hardware and VST sampling; woven amongst beat and melody are subliminal message recordings for heart opening, trust and acceptance of change.
